The Toronto Ultras have revealed their world tour dates for 2020 as well as which players, both veterans and new will be playing. The League has the normal veteran players Daniel Loony Loza, Nicholas Classic Dicostanzo and Anthony Methodz Zinni who are Canadians and five international players, Cameron Cammy Mckilligan, Tobias CleanX Juul Jonson, Alejandro Lucky Lopez, Adrian MeTTalZz Serrano, and Ben Bance Bance. The team is owned by Over Active Media. This is the team expected to take the world tour in 2020.
The 10 member roaster was first revealed in October at the Rebel Entertainment Complex amidst cheers from 1500 fans. The event was headlined by Zach Zoya and Navra Singh “Nav” Goraya.The season begins on Jan 24th, 2020 in Indianapolis. The games are said to be in Toronto between the dates of March 21st and 22nd and in July between the 18th and 19th. The venue for the league has not yet been mention. It is due to be mentioned by the Over Active Media team at the end of November 2019.
The teams that will be visiting Toronto for the league include; New York Subliners, Optic Gaming Los Angeles, Atlanta FaZe, Paris Legion and London Royal Ravens in March 2020.In July 2020, during the second half of the series, the following teams will visit Toronto; Seattle Surge, London Royal Ravens, Minnesota Rokkr, New York Subliners, Los Angeles Guerrillas and Chicago Huntsmen.
The CEO of Over Active Media says, “We have spent a tremendous amount of time talking to our core fans, influencer’s, brands, and players to ensure we are building the very best Call of Duty team and brand in the world.” He encouraged a turn out of new fans to encourage the league during the dates they would be hosting. He also said that Toronto and Over Active Media will make it difficult for the visit teams to win while in Toronto. Well, if this has not revved up the fans as well as the Toronto Ultra League, I do not know what will.The teams reveal was, of course, strategic with the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare happening just last month. The venue reveal is just to keep the core fans excited before the competitions begin in February 2020.
